Our chapel/ multipurpose building can accommodate just over 125 people. D&D is not a church and has no Sunday or Wednesday programs. D&D's motto, "WATCH GOD WORK" is prominently displayed in the beautiful stained glass window seen when entering the building.
We do occasionally have chapel programs. Our programs vary and may include a missionary trying out that new presentation or a special guest from the community or a local church. Other guest speakers or musicians provide variety for missionaries, staff, volunteers, and other community people.
As a multipurpose building, it may be used for indoor picnics, food distribution, or small group activities. Group dinners for our campus guests and staff are provided in the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. It’s a special time here during the Christmas season when the chapel is used as a central location for picking out Christmas trees, decorations, and gifts. Area churches often supply treats and gifts for the missionary children who often number about 60.
The building is also used for weekly benefit sales to help offset missionary costs.
